Avery lamothe
My name is Avery, and I am a musician and writer from Norman, Oklahoma. I have been creating original music since 2016, in a wide variety of styles and genres. My main creative outlet since 2018 has been Moon Rabbit, an alias under which I have released one full-length album and two EPs of eclectic indie rock. I also release experiments in various genres of electronic music under the alias Flannels and served as a multi-instrumentalist, producer, and vocalist for the band 12 rainy sundays in a row. I write, record, produce, and mix all of my music by myself with Logic Pro X in my home studio.In 2020, I co-founded the organization Avenue Minecraft Concerts, a group which put together free-to-attend online music festivals to raise money for various charitable causes. Over two years, we raised over $8,000 across 11 events and worked with a wide variety of talent, including Car Seat Headrest, Neil Cicierega, Glass Beach, Left at London, Fraxiom, in love with a ghost, and more. I helped organize and performed at every one of these events, and also did graphic design work for many of them.Below are links to my various projects.
